Thank you, Newcastle!

So, were you amongst the hundreds who turned up at Waterstone's in Newcastle on Saturday to get their copies of "Ooh! What a Lovely Pair!" signed? If you did, thanks for making it such a special day! We were down there taking photos and filming for officialantanddec.com, and couldn't believe how fantastic the atmosphere was and just how committed some of you are! We couldn't believe the dedication displayed by some of Ant & Dec fans - from the people who begun queuing up at 2am to those of you who travelled miles and miles to get to Newcastle and not to mention those of you who gave up your whole Saturday to meet the boys, we hope it was worth it! The boys had an incredible day and were so surprised and grateful to everyone for turning up, as Dec joked he only thought "half a dozen" people would show up!   • Bought the book on Thursday night, finished reading it on Saturday. Brilliantly done, I could actually hear you talking!!! Loved it!!! Couldn't put it down. Congratulations!

  • I'm so jealous!! wish I could get to meet you. Unfortunately I'm mainly housebound and couldn't sit for that long in a wheelchair to queue up from 2am even if I did manage to find someone to get me there and stay all day with me!

    I got the book delivered from Amazon the day it was released though and finished it already its brilliant and I love the photos. I love watching your videos on here and hope you transfer them all to your you tube site so I can put them on my iPod to watch in bed too!

    You always make me laugh and brighten up my day. :)

    What a wonderful day of fun it looked like. I am sure it was worth the wait. I suffered two loses that day one unable to make signing and the second a Toon lose that's what happens when you live so far away. :( Oh well...maybe should have had some of my Toon friends I've made from there go to the signing for me...lol Well good luck on the rest of the signing engagements have fun.

    I qued for quite a few hours that day to meet use,but i tell you it was worth every second!!! Ha me and my mate were chuffed to see use both!!Dont know if youl remember but we did say we were like the Female versions of use, Jane & Bec haha! Just as MAD

  • I am soooo gutted couldn't make it to meet you guys on Sat :-( but my hubby decided to work, (think it coz he jealous of me being totally in love with Dec, got pics on the fridge lol!!)
    Have read 14 chapters of the book all ready! Can't put it down!
    It is a brilliant book so easy to read.

  • We were there on Saturday and the day was fab well worth the wait. This was one of the best days we have had and will always remember it thanks. p.s. my daughter gave you the new chocolate challenge.
