The second semi-finals
Last night’s live semi-final was a mixed bag of performers, with singers (Connected, Neil Fullard) dancers (Taboo, The Ruby Girls, Michael Fayombo Jnr and Snr) plus comedy singer and pianist Kev Orkian, Lady Gaga impersonator Maxxie, and then of course, Tina and her dancing rescue dog Chandi.
Despite extremely well rehearsed routines the dancing groups didn’t go down too well which was s surprise, and the judges even felt that perhaps Michael Fayombo Jnr should have performed without his dad!
The runaway star of last night’s show was definitely Chandi, and it was the first time animal lover Simon Cowell was going to witness her and owner Tina’s act. Luckily the pair went down an absolute storm with the judges, audience and viewers at home which saw them sail through to Saturday’s live final. Simon confessed his love for Chandi! Mini boyband Connected narrowly beat Neil Fullard through to the final and the Manchester teens all burst in to tears when the announcement was made.
What did you think of last night’s show? Do you think 34-piece dance troupe Taboo should have gone through after all their hard work? What about Lady Gaga a like Maxxie? Do you think we will be seeing more of him?
