Well hello everyone,
We hope you’re looking forward to what promises to be a rather eventful few weeks on the telly…we know we are!
We’ve just arrived back in the country after indulging ourselves with a quick holiday - a great chance to recharge the batteries, soak up a little bit of sun and generally get some R&R after finishing Push the Button. We really enjoyed the whole series, and we have to say a big thanks to all of you for the support, we loved every minute of it and it’s nice to know that so many of you did as well.
Also, we hope you’ve enjoyed our online, bite-size challenges… Dec put up a brave fight throughout but it seems he was never quite able to take the lead - If you haven’t seen them, get watching (It’s a great chance to have a laugh at Dec’s expense, it’s always fun)!
We’ve also managed to squeeze a bit of business into our downtime over the last couple of weeks - We’ve been in Cannes for the MIP TV Festival to promote Push the Button. The Portuguese have bought the rights to show and (would you believe it?) the Finnish were ‘very interested’. Global domination is in our sights - you know how the saying goes, ‘today Portugal and Finland…tomorrow the world!’ Mwahaha! (sorry, got a bit carried away there)
But, any plans of global expansion will have to be put on hold for a little while, as first it’s back to Blighty to unleash the madness of Britain’s Got Talent. Can you believe it’s that time of year already?! It seems the BGT media blitz has kicked off with a bang- when we got back from France every tabloid had a countdown for when the first show starts and already stories of some of the contestants are starting to pour out…the hype has well and truly begun.
We held all the auditions back in January and February, but we’re so excited and looking forward to showing you all the insanity, calamity, hilarity and of course genuine talent that make up this year’s contestants - and we’ve already seen it all!
Only one more day until Britain shows us what it’s made of!
Can’t wait! See you on the Telly!
