Jet Lag!

Forgive us if we drift off to sleep during this blog but our jet lag is severe and we’re really feeling the cold! Yes, we’re back home after crowning Gino D ‘Acampo King of the Jungle and getting into the festive spirit. Our trees are going up this weekend; we’re both going Christmas shopping not to mention filming our special Christmas show next week. It’s a fun mix of celeb guests, party games, silly sketches and festive cheer perfect for your Boxing Day night. It’s got us right in the Christmas mood, Australia seems a long way away!

Hope you’re all having fun in the run up to Chrimbo and you’ve been enjoying the filmed pieces from Oz, there’s more going up over the next few days, so check back when you can.

Just wanted to say that i think you are both wonderful (i do however have an extremely huuuuge soft spot for dec) to the point where i have a pic of him on my sunvisor…..my hubby looks really daft when he drives the car lol!!!!

Would love to come and watch one of your shows never manage to obtain tickets, much to my dismay….

I am 26 and still giggle like a teenage when i see you on tv and it was an ongoing joke that i was going to make my hubby wear a Dec mask when we were saying our vows……unfortunately the vicar did not this appropriate haha.

Well just finished the book and what a great read it was. Always loved what you guys have done and yet again I was not disapointed with the book.
Being a similar age I have always followed you both with great interest and have enjoyed growing up with two normal (well ish ) people who have made it big time. Well done! Me and my hubby both think your great on I’m a celeb…. and you guys do make the show without you it would def not be the success that it has been. I don’t think I would watch it if you where not in it. It was nice to read a bit about Ants Lisa too she sounds like a great lass and must be a saint to put up with you both! x

One of my fav parts was the Shearer testimonial, I was laughing even before I read it as I was dying to hear it from your point of view as it was funny on the night…sorry but it was!!!

how are the auditions going? can’t wait to watch you both, though you do tend to giggle a lot backstage and that sets me off, and then i feel mean to the act :P
i also love the many faces Dec seems to pull, and when you try the acts, haha.
i ordered tickets to watch BGT 2010, but then got told that i would have to prove i was 16, won’t be 16 for 5 months, which is really annoying.

I just want to say how much I enjoyed your book. I was shopping with my mum in M&S when I said to her I would buy this book for my dad as a joke. My dad for some reason doesn’t like u to guys (I don’t think he gets ur humour!!). Anyway when he opened it on Christmas Day he did laugh and said he would read the book. I had bought him presents he wanted so luckly I managed to get the book off him as I really wanted to read. I have read quite a few autobiography books and I have got to say that yours is the one that I have enjoyed the most. I couldnt put it down. I have never laughed so much reading a book and I was gutted when I got to the end. I loved the lay out of the book the way that Ant would say something then followed by Dec. It felt like u were in the room with me telling me your story (if u know what I mean). I always wonder whether you were the down to earth guys that u always see when u are on the telly. I was so pleased to say that the book didn’t disappoint me in that way. The way that you still see ur mates from when u were kids and you like nothing more than going to the local. My mum cant wait to read the book next, followed by my sister and my dad! I love watching you on I’m a Britains got talent and I’m a Celeb. When they r doing the trails I do not think it would be half as funny if you two were not there, as I end up laughing at u two laughing at the celeb. Its a credit to you both that you have managed to stay such good friends without any major fall outs in all the yrs that you have known each other. That is so rare considering how much time you spend together.
I am looking forward to Saturday Nights Takeaway and seeing u on Britains Got Talent. I wish you both many more yrs of success and hope that you will bring out another book in the next 10 yrs or so.

HI I’m definatly not your no 1 fan as i have never been on this website before & I was too busy to watch the christmas show in fact didn’t even know it was on, once i did I looked on itv player but it wasn’t on there!I even asked my husband (or anyone) to buy me your book for christmas and guess what they didn’t so i went and brought it myself last week. I can’t imagine that read all these posts! So i might as well waffle on!! My 2nd daughter is teething so I’ll have to go for a mo…she’s now sitting with me no longer crying! i am over half way through the book i didn’t realise u drank so much your poor livers! but reading about takaways so much has driven me to send my hubby out in the snow to buy an indian, essential trips only the news says, but i think it is & i think u would also agree (thats also why i can be here on the computer sending u guys this crazy message for no reason, expecting that i might even get a reply! he would be livid if he new!!) any way better go & try & but her to bed again. think u guys r great & so far the stories have made me laugh. my friend was at the truckfest but she never mentioned the cow incident obviously didn’t think it was anything worth mentioning (maybe it happens a lot in fields with a stage in it!)
would love to go to one of your shows and see whats its really like in a tv studio got any advice on how do u get tickets (& babysitters!)

What was so refreshing was to read an autobiography that was actually written by the people involved rather than telling a writer their story to be then re-written. your book is officially on my xmas list this year (here’s praying mum bought it!) i had a flick through the pictures in it, while i was in ASDA a few weeks ago. was a good laugh. sometimes you looked a lil bit silly. lol. and the captions were great too :)

The Christmas show sounds like it’s going to brilliant!! Shame I can’t see it. Tried to get tickets, but of course couldn’t and can’t watch it on telly. You Brits are really getting a wonderful christmas treat from the boys :D

All I can hope for is some nice christmassy vids to be put up here. Maybe the missing choc challenge? Video of Dec munching on choc christmas decorations will do too ;)
