Statement from Talkback Thames

October 30th, 2009

Following today’s newspaper reports in reference to Kelly Brook’s departure from Britain’s Got Talent Talkback Thames issued the following statement:

This decision was made jointly by ITV and the producers of the show and categorically not by Ant and Dec. The format of the show is cleaner and less complicated with just three judges which was not fully appreciated ahead of filming. Although Kelly brought a huge amount of warmth to the show and we loved having her on board, the complications it added to the filming process and format of the show meant that we decided not to proceed with a fourth judge.
