First of all thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who came to see us at our book signings. The tour kicked off in our hometown of Newcastle and the amount of people that showed up was incredible. We wrote as fast as we could until our fingers nearly dropped off. We had loads of fun chatting to people and then we got to go to St James’s Park to watch the match, which made the day even better as we won 3 -1 against Plymouth! (You can watch a video of the signing here.)
Since Newcastle we’ve been to WHSmith’s in the Bluewater shopping centre and Eason’s in Dublin. It’s great to get out there and hear first-hand what you think of the book and our website, all positive feedback so far. Thanks for all the Smarties, Chocolate Buttons and Jaffa Cakes; you’ve obviously been watching the Chocolate Challenges and are on a mission to make us big and fat! It’s the last signing on Thursday at Asda in Derby so keep an eye out on the site for more details.
On Saturday, we got into our party outfits to attend a very special birthday celebration. The Prince of Darkness himself, Mr Simon Cowell turned 50 and it turned out to be quite a knees up, it was exactly what you would expect, glamorous, star-studded and completely over the top! It was an amazing night but we’ve never been so nervous singing Happy Birthday, thankfully we didn’t get buzzed off half way through!
Aside from all the book shenanigans we’ve had a hectic few weeks filming some new adverts for Nintendo, the first of which will be coming out later this month. We can’t tell you too much just yet as they’re still top secret, but we’ve had a lot of fun filming and can’t wait to see them on the telly.
When we’ve not been racing each other at Mario Kart or challenging each other to table tennis on Wii Sports Resort we’ve been spending a bit of time preparing to head out to Australia for the new series of ‘I’m A Celebrity…. ‘. We’ve already started having meetings and we’ll be heading out there in a few weeks time - it’s still early days, but we’re really excited as it looks like this series is going to be a cracker! Take care and speak to you all soon.
