Thanks for getting involved and keep those attempts to beat us at our own game, coming in. We’ve filmed a few more that will be online in the coming weeks, but we’ve had to take a little break from our ‘calorific’ competition and head down the gym, it really takes its toll after a while! Don’t forget tomorrow, being Friday, means it’ll be time for a new challenge!
We also went to Wales for the Welsh Open. Well, not the Welsh Open but our own version of it. We stayed at the absolutely fantastic Celtic Manor Resort and played on the course that will be hosting the Ryder Cup next September. We’ve been at Celtic twice before when we hosted the All-Star Cup there and the guys remembered us and showed us a great time. They even offered us a chance to play on the 2010 course, and we have to say it was one of the best courses we’ve ever played! Really hard but if you like your golf then you’ll love it. Neither of us won that game, but rather than reveal who did, you can see all the antics in the video we made on the course HERE!
There’s less than a month to go before our book hits the shelves - the 17th September to be exact and currently it’s winging its way to the printers. The first copies haven’t rolled off the presses yet, but we’re hoping to get our hands on one very soon. There may even be a little competition in the works for you guys, so stay tuned and we’ll reveal more later on. We’re also putting the finishing touches to what’s looking like a hectic schedule for us around the time the book is released, so we’ll let you know the dates and locations of our various appearances as soon as we know they’re all 100% confirmed. I’m a Celebrity… is nearly upon us again - can you believe it’s been nearly a year since the last one? We’ve once again submitted our annual list of dream suggestions for the camp: Mr T, Gary Coleman and Peter Stringfellow. Lord knows whether they’ve even been asked, let alone said yes or no but we’ve got a meeting about the show in a couple of weeks, so we’ll know more then.
It’s very exciting though; the producers have apparently been talking to some great people, so we’re really looking forward to hearing the names. To be honest, they never tell us who they’ve got until the last minute because they know we’ll tell everyone! But we’ve put our list forward and we can only hope that at least one of them will make it on the show eventually. Both of us can’t wait to head back to Australia, it’s a really nice time of year to go, just when the weather starts to turn bad in the UK. So we’ll finish off what will hopefully be a lovely last few weeks of summer here, before heading down to Oz - can’t wait!
